The COLOROMAT allows easy measurement of transmission, extinction and ICUMSA colour units at the recommended standard wavelengths 420 and 560 nm. The generous dimensions of the sample chamber allow polarimeter tubes up to 100 mm (even flow through tubes) to be used as standard cuvettes. This means that the same sample cuvette can be used for polarimetry and photometry. The versatile software allows the definition of additional methods. The COLOROMAT is equipped with a continuous measuring mode with free configurable sampling rate for monitoring colour changes in product streams or as a function of time.
COLOROMAT complements the other instruments in the SCHMIDT+HAENSCH range and is another important part of the automated sugar lab.
