Quantitate
unknown compounds without using the unknown as a reference. ANTEK's
nitrogen HPLC detector saves analysts hours or even months
of work. Its equimolar response allows quantitation of all nitrogen-containing
compounds, using any readily available nitrogen standard, over
5 orders of magnitude - complex compounds with a single standard.
- Ideal for combinatorial chemistry and high throughput screening
- Add quantitation & selectivity to your mass spectrometer
- Quantitate complex samples with a single standard
- No chromophore - no derivatisation required
- Equimolar detection means results are not compound dependent
- Easy to operate
ANTEK's Model 8060 Nitrogen
Specific HPLC Detector (HPLC-CLND) responds only to nitrogen-containing
compounds and is ideal to use without derivatisation. This recipient
of the prestigious R&D 100 Award offers a linear calibration
curve over a wide range, an equimolar response for all nitrogen-containing
compounds, and a detection limit that rivals other HPLC detectors.

ANTEK's HPLC detectors are powerful new
tools for any analysis where nitrogen specificity adds flexibility
to the laboratory - including pharmaceutical, biomedical, biotechnical,
agricultural, foods, and petrochemical industries.
Due to this variety of applications, ANTEK offers the 8060 in four configurations for liquid chromatographic separations:
Normal & Reversed Phase:
-
8060 Standard : Includes four (4) mass flow
controllers. Normal and reversed mobile phase applications.
-
8060-C : Adds full computer control via
an RS-485 port; also referred to as "Open Access"
8060. All flows and functions (gains, auto zero, pressures)
are controlled are displayed. Four (4) mass flow controllers.
Normal and reversed mobile phase applications. Use with MicroMass's
MaxLynx or your own software.
Reversed Phase Only:
-
8060-R : For reversed mobile phase applications
only, such as methanol, isopropanol, water, etc. Includes
three (3) mass flow controllers to facilitate flow optimization.
-
8060-M with mechanical flow controls : The
Quality Control (QC) lab grade system, Antek's lowest cost 8060.
Requires an external flow meter to measure and set flows. This
method should be routine with little additional method development
needed. If a significant amount of R&D with frequent mobile
phase changes is expected, this system will be functional but
much less convenient than an 8060 model that includes mass flow
control.
